Camaro vs. Challenger

I’m sure you’re familiar with both of these concepts by now. But it is interesting to see them in person. To be honest, this Mopar fan prefers the Camaro concept to the 21st century E-body. The proportions just seem better. The Challenger looks kind of… fat. Both are attracting big crowds, but it’s harder to get close to the Challenger. Let’s hope gas prices stay under $3 a gallon until these cars roll off the assembly lines.

the new challenger really brings back the “muscle” back into todays world its sleek and aerodynamic but bulky and big like the cars of yester year . the camaro is a revised and really futuristic looking yes very advanced but can you imagine chevrolet comingout with this car build millions no this car wouldnt fit in with today and in todays cars maybe when the camaro actually looks like a camaro it will be socially accepted. the cahllenger is perfect itll fit in with the time era its being introduced to and it isnt too intinidating for the modern muscle car man.

I definatley prefer the 2008 camaro over the 2008 dodge challenger. I mean for one the back of the dodge challenger looks flat and out of date and also the dodge challenger just looks in a way kind of skinny but the camaro looks big and bulky and that is what i like. The dodge challenger really does not look like enough effort was put into it it just looks like it was threw together in the factory then put out there for the world to see. The camaro on the other hand looks like it had to much effort put into in because of how gmc went out of their way to make it look sleek, attract peoples eyes, fast, and so many more things.

I’M IN THE CAR BUSINESS AND EVEN CHRYSLER TECHS SAY DODGE MECHANICALLY SUCKS, EVEN BROUGHT DOWN MERCEDES BENZ DOWN WITH THEM. I’LL NEVER BE SEEN IN A DODGE, I RATHER DRIVE A HYUNDAI. BOTH ARE BEAUTIES AS FAR AS PHYSICAL APPEARANCE BUT GM IS THE BEST WITH MORE REALISTIC ENGINE OPTIONS AND PRICING

Burmanski, I’m talking about the standard engine that each will come with.

The new Challenger is such an awesome car. It has similar lines and such, as its predecessor. Unlike the camaro, it actually looks like the good old pony car of the day. When the new 6.4+ hemi comes out watch out bow ties. The challenger is coming and its gonna be king.

I have a 1968 Camaro, and I think that is the best design of any muscel cars. I’m disapointed in the exterior design of the Camaro, they should of done a better job on the front and rear side panels. At least make the rear part look similar to the 67 or 69, not a box… The interior of the Camaro is awesome, that’s the only good thing about the Camaro. For the Dodge Challenger WOW! I would rather get the Challenger then the Camaro concept. My dad used to have a 1972 Challenger and it looks just like the original. My dad wants to buy the Challenger as soon as it comes out.

Just so yall know, Dodge is also commin out with a 6.4L Hemi at 500ish HP. So Dodge will lead the pack, also look around at older pony cars, the dodge ones are worth the most

I love both cars, I will not sell either one short, the Camaro could be a very strong car, if they give it the option of big block power I.E. the 7.1 liter idea sounds good, a camaro with only a V6 option, you may as well trash the entire project, and I am a camaro guy, a 1969 Camaro was my first car. Low power will ruin the car, I love what chavy has done with the interior of the car, and the rear quarters seem to have a good look, but the front could use some work.

Now for the Challenger, I think is car is an awesome idea from word go, it does not need any help at all, Dodge has a supreme job of the design and building of this car, “KUDOS” to them.

I am going to correct you the Camaro is going to have eather a 250hp V6 a 400hp V8 and a 505hp ZL1 7.1L so i can see the camaro leading the new muscle car pack. Don’t Over Drive Gutless Engine (Dodge)

The Challenger looks way more like the old Challenger as compared to the new Camaro and its predecessor. The new Challenger will also come standard with the 5.7 HEMI v-8. The Camaro is going to have a v-6. The new challenger is king of the new muscle pack!!

-Mopar or no car!

While you may consider this new Challenger to be a bit portly (fat?), I have to disagree… it looks very much like the original Challenger from way back when…. the proportions are quite right…

The Camaro looks good, too, but what helps is that chopped-look to the roofline… makes it look more purposeful and sporting….

The new camaro MUST come out as retro as possible, a lot of people are watching this car. I know GM must put certain things in this car to be legal, but it must stay as retro as possible also lets have LOTS of horse power as the new mustang has. Thanks
