Five Favorites from SEMA
Posted by: Rob Editor-in-Chief |
Last week SEMA asked me to pick my five favorite cars from this years show. It wasnt easy, but I managed to pick the five that I thought really stood out. The Cobb WRX, the Super Stock Challenger, the 72 Nova Sleeper, the Castrol Top Tuner Solstice and the Extreme Dimensions Fit. Let me know what you think of my selections, and VOTE for your favorite. |

This is a hard vote… that WRX would have been a lot of work and will be really nice when its finished.

Jeez, guys, so far three out of four comments are asking me to put more Mopars on the list. I already get enough abuse around here about my Mopar bias, so I figured I better just limit it to one.
I thought the DC area rocked, though, and of course loved Mopar Alley.

I liked the TWIN-TURBO 2006 Dodge Charger personally! It was Green and Black with a barb-wire design separating the colors and had HAHN on the windshield! That thing was sick! Saw it the night before the show cruising the strip!

I cant say id vote for any of these. I am am huge fan of fooses HemisFEAR; Larry Johnston’s reshaped, great 8, ‘50 Chevy; Seth Wagner’s ‘41 Willys Pickup (hammerhead); and Jason Hills 1955 F-100 that debuted in the Auto Air booth. While all the cars you listed are amazing in one aspect, i think they lack the detail in EVERY corner to be a true representative of SEMA’s best.

ED’s Fit was absolutely insane. Very well-built both under the hood, inside and out. I was highly impressed.
