Corvette Summer on eBay
Posted by: Rob Editor-in-Chief |
I gotta say this thing is pretty hideous, but it’s on eBay now if you’re interested. But is it really one of the actual cars used in Corvette Summer? We thought the movie car was right hand drive (so Mark Hamill could hang out the curbside window and admire the ladies). Plus, it had the bowtie tail lights. Want to see the car in action? Here’s a car chase from the movie.

I agree Vanessa’s Van was SWEET!!! What ever happened to it? Maybe it will pop up on ebay. The bowtie tail light from the movie was kind of cool. I have no idea what the person who designed this custom Vette was thinking.

I like the car and the radical paint job! I give it a thumbs up.

eBay have lots of car bargains, though what’s with the design? Even if it’s not the actual car from the movie, sure they made money out of it.

At least this one is selling… Though I honestly think the charger is a better buy… I am not old enough to remember this movie, was there a particular inspiration/reason for this design??

Yeah, okay, it is a monster, but I have to say that the redeeming quality of the Stingray from the movie was indeed that beautifully designed taillight… Which the one on eBay totally lacks… Very shameful.

That is one ugly Vette. Please, I love Corvetts, and make no mistake if I had it I would keep it. But only after I took the sawsaw to it.
