Giugiaro Porsche Concept

Now I love the 550 Spyder, but Porsches have never really done it for me. When I parked cars, I put several of them through the paces—the performance was seriously impressive—but I never felt comfortable. I’m six-three, and every time I went to shift, my knee would slam into the underside of the dash. And honestly, I’ve never thought the styling was all that. But I do really like this Giugiaro concept I found on Hemmings. The guts are from a 914, and it has a set of gull wing door to access the motor. Pretty cool given that you have to drop the motor to do anything more than check the oil in a 914.
