yea i have a 2000 jetta and it;s alot of call backs that the factory does not really take the time to fix, example my cup holder broke, my, warning light was on for month until i took it to the dealership. It took them three times to fix it and caused my about 1000plus i had the 40k done at the same time.

It's been noted in an article that Volkswagen Passat and Jetta are among the cars who have lots of faulty parts and complaints from its owners. Brake parts are very important that having any malfunction on its parts like VW brake hose- http://www.vdubpartsdirect.com/vw_brakehose.html -must not be ignored. Most car accidents have malfunctioning brakes.

Two letters has been sent to manufacture.
There have been 5 or 6 trips to the dealership.
Because we have a lemon, and the dealership is giving us a real hard time If you can handle our case or give us the name and number of a lemon law attoney.
I feel as if our 07 New Beetles has a bad senor etc....and electric problem that has affected the right side of the car. , switch want turn the engine at times, grinding electrical sound heard, the trunk re-latch instantly, the trunk suck-it self down or not lock at all, at times something pop or fall in the trunk area, the radio cut it self off by it self when it feel like it.
My main concern is that if a senor is involved it possible that it might malfunction on the instate (we drive over 100 miles per day), or any place causing an accident that were discuss a few months ago with the dealership. They have let me know that do not want the car back they want to fix it. The problems. The 2007 is a lemon and unsafe on the highways etc...And to the owner of the car, it almost re latch it self on my finger the car has a mind of it own, it malfunction when it want to.
The main purpose of buying a new car is to be trouble free date purchase 10-21-06
At the serviced for default dealership 11-7-06 and still need repairs. How depressing.
The worst thing about the matter is that the fine German engineered New Bettle was manufactured in Mexico.

I agree the new Jetta lacks the aggressive masculine styling of previous years. But I've come to really like the new GTI and Rabbit styling. I'm about 4.5 years into my GTI now, and I've been SO tempted to pick up the new GTI.

I, however, would NOT buy another one. They're boring looking now after owning my Jetta for 2 years (almost).
