New Cars at the Upcoming Geneva Auto Show
Posted by: Jim Road & Track Senior Editor |
Some neat new cars will make their debut at the Geneva show. Dodge will take the wraps off of their low-cost Miata fighter, the Dodge Demon. If they build it, expect a very low ($15,000 – $17,000) sticker. Another nice piece of kit that should get sports car enthusiast’s hearts pumping is the KTM X-Bow. A sort of Lotus Elise light, the famed dirt bike manufacturer says if they build the X-Bow it might have a starting price of around $30,000—about half the price of the British sports car company’s model. And with a lightweight carbon-fiber monocoque, a 220-bhp four-banger from Audi and an expected total weight of only 1500 lbs. the X-Bow should be as much fun as an Xbox! Other big unveilings include the all-new 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Volvo V70 and a lighter, more powerful version of one of my favorite, most fun-to-drive cars, the Lamborghini Gallardo, dubbed the Superleggara. |

Wow! Nice car! I’m really excited when an Auto Show is being held.. For I have a chance to see some of the best car line-ups. I’m excited to see the new Mercedes Benz C-Class. I want to have a closer look at its interior such as the Mercedes floor mats [ http://www.mbpartswarehouse.com/mercedes_floormats.html ] and other accessories that is incorporated with it.. Hope its not that expensive to own one.

$30,000 is half of the $43,000 base price of an Elise????
You may want to check your math…

Sweet! if that picture is the x-bow, I’ll spend $30k on it! I see I’ll have to invest in a pair of goggles too. I doubt they would build it like that though, with a wind deflector that would only be good for just that, deflecting the wind.. and nothing else.
