I love the engineering and fabrication that goes into these, but why do they spend $30k on wheels and tires and then have those tiny brakes to stop it? Spend some of the cash on some wheels so you can stop the car now. anyone ever heard of a little thing called rotational inertia?

I really get tired of all the bashing that these lifted cars get. Excuse a person for wanting his ride to look different from everybody else. Its not exactly my preferred style but I think its cool and something new. Maybe some people want a different look and are tired of seeing the same old Cragars or Torq-thrust wheels and a 1-2″ suspension drop on the older V8 cars. Its cool not to like it, but don’t act like your car is the template for all others to follow.

Guys, please be respectful! Everybody loves all cars types here, so please show some respect for somebody who put a lot of work, sweat and time into their whip. It is not easy to build a car like this and it requires a lot of custom work.

Karl’s rims are sponsored, so he did not pay for the wheels. The car has also been displayed at SEMA, a place many of us wish our cars would even make it out on the walkway outside the halls!

Just think how much fun it would be to cruise with your friends down South Beach in the Garfield Box for a day. Don’t hate the hi-riser culture.

I think it’s silly that with the big clear wheels, and able to see anything under the car, he’s got DRUM brakes on the rear. I’d think he’d do at least some shiny disk brakes with some brightly colored calipers or somethign.

Other than those wheels, that car isn’t that spectacular.

I mean, it’s got a shiny paint job and really fancy wheels, but not much else… If you’re going to go so far on the wheels, why not get the car looking a bit nicer than just a monster truck with low profile tires.

If he could afford 30k wheels, he should atleast put some more detail to the brakes,suspension, and chassis. Put some paint, chrome, gold, big brake kit for those big wheels.
