We’re Watching You
Posted by: Rob Editor-in-Chief |
Looks like we’re gonna hit that 500,000 mark in the next couple of days. And we still have a few prizes to give away. In fact, these are the biggest prizes of the contest. So here’s how it’s gonna play out: Friday we announce the winner of the $500 Extreme Dimensions body kit. John and I are going through all the comments in the Extreme Dimensions blog post right now to pick the winner. There are some nice ride pages so it’s gonna be tough. Over the weekend John and I will be working hard, surfing the site, looking for great ride pages. Monday we announce the winner of the best new ride page. The winner gets a $500 CarDomain Store shopping spree. So if any of you are waiting to flip a new ride page to View, DO IT NOW. I already have a new ride page I’m leaning toward, so… Tuesday we announce the winner of the best updated ride page. This lucky winner also gets a $500 CarDomain Store shopping spree. And this prize is gonna go to a CarDomain fanatic/regular. As of now this one is totally up in the air… Think we should consider you for best new ride page or best updated ride page? A comment below won’t hurt. Good luck, and thanks for playing!

Hey Cardomain, I’m a new to cardomain, but not new to the road and have exprenced a lot of stuff in the passed months. Take a look at my page, I just bought a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am, after a huge loss of my 1995 Chysler Sebring, a summers worth of time and money gone, in 2 secs. I’m in school right now and don’t have the money to up grade my new ride and probly won’t for awhile as i have to pay it off. It would be awesome that Cardomain could be part of my first mod or upgrading on my new ride.

Well…i have a 1999 chevy tracker…I bought it for $2500 and put over $3000 into it…it could still use alot of updating/modding to make it better…My latest mod was a volt meter because my sub hits hard i wanted to moniter it. The biggest mod that i would like to add to my car is H&R lowering springs…to improve handeling and the astecics of the ride…Next on my list is to add a bigger subwoofer and a stonger amp…BTW my ride is fairly new…Thanks for reading!…

Well, I’ve spent most of my money on performance upgrades for my 04 MazdaSpeed Roadster (mx-5). Oh.. to feel that deep, innermost awakening, that arousal of latent rapturous emotion solely effectuated by moving unconscionably faster than the human body was ever meant to go, by incessantly pushing the verge of the laws of physics; that titillating sensation, equidistant between the conscius and the subconscius which is entirely unfathomable to those who haven’t experienced it, don’t understand it, or those who only care about looking like they’re fast.
err..
um, I mean, I just want some free schtuff. Hmm.. what would I get from CarDomain with $500..
MORE GO-MOJO YEA!!! I just can’t justify spending a lot of money on looks when performance is so much more.. vivifying.
And in other news:
If you google ‘04 mazdaspeed’, my CarDomain page is the first result listed!
According to Reuters.com, U.S. agency clears Jolie’s adoption!! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2424172
PS- to the deuche (cough*david*cough) who called upstate NY ‘craptacular’, IT’S GO TIME! Even though I don’t live in so-called “upstate NY” any longer, upstate NY is not craptacular, craptastic, or even crapalicious. Do you wish to inquire about what IS craptacular? YOU are, my friend! You are.
Just kidding david, please don’t firebomb my house, I’m still trying to put out the fire in my kitchen.. while typing. About how much I love car domain.. with all of my body.

That $500 would help me a lot in upgrading my sound system. I only have the stock system right now and I feel it’s about that time to give more “oomph!” to the package. It’ll take me a while before my ride becomes competitive with the awesome rides on CarDomain, but I’m getting there – slowly, but surely.

Whats going on Rob and John? Just wanted to say a few things to try and get myself in the running for this $500 gift certificate! I’ld like to start by saying that i am a Cardomain finatic! It is the poerfect way to show my car to everyone that wants to see it and also to show everyone how much i do love everything about my car. I am seriously on Cardomain every single day. When i am at home I’m on my computer. And when I’m on my computer i’m on Cardomain. I just love to look at all the new rides and the updated rides; import, domestic, old school, muscle, beater, or exotic it really doesn’t matter to me because everyone sees something in thier own ride that noone else might and Cardomain lets us do that. Also I really enjoy reading the dalily blogs on here, there keep me ammused for hours. Ok back to the meaning of this blog … I update my page all the time! Almost every single day! And if i don’t update it I’m still on it. Every though i don’t like to date every entry i make you can tell that i have my page very organized and have spent alot of time on it. I am sure to update my page every time i do something new to my ride. So if you could consider me for this $500 gift certificate I would be sure to spend it wisely and definately have many pages added to my rides pages and updated as the upgrades come. Thanks again and drop by my page to see whats new on my 2003 Hyundai Tiburon.

A few items i would keep in mind with this $500 is an INJEN CAI, DC SPORTS HEADERS, VADER BODY KIT, DC SPORTS FRONT AND REAR STRUT BARS, and a new FLYWHEEL to match with the Clutchmasters Clutch that I’ve won already (thanks alot btw)
So guys please keep me in mind fo this! Thanks

Hey, I’m new to car domain and I would love to have 500 dollars to put towards something big I wanna do. I’m looking for something big so I can give like step by step instructions on my cardomain page. I would love a new clutch and flywheel or some suspension parts. I wanna have one of those cardomain pages where you learn something not just look at it and say wow and rate it. I feel so dumb begging but I promise it’ll go towards a nice UPDATED and NEW cardomain page.
Look at my cardomain page and help me improve it. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2575385

I would LOVE a $500 CarDomain card so I can buy up all my lighting and other accessories for my car!! I’m working really hard on it and have big plans … they may not include fiberglass replacement pieces or kickers, but I feel that they are just as valid… so what if I’m happy with a custom matched interior, lotta LEDs, and a spiffy new take on a racing stripe, I’m entitled to my opinion of what rocks!! I would appreciate a look and a consideration if nothing else!
Thanks for viewing my Versa!!!
p.s. yeah, I’m positive I could blow $500 easy if given the chance…

You can update your page simply by changing the text. On the left nav it shows when the page was last updated. Even if you make a minor change to the page, this date will change and get you in the running. So just put in an update about your plans for the car once you get it out of storage.

I have a question about the terms for updating the page. My car is in winter storage right now because I live in craptacular upstate NY. So my problem is that I cant update my page untill the car comes out of storage. Can I update the page with things that I will be doing to the car when it comes out of storage in a month ? Or possible add picture of my other cars ?
