As the de facto administrator of the Security Fix blog, I’ve spent many an hour deleting spammy links left in the comments section –
- comments that usually lead back to the same kinds of Web sites you most commonly see advertised in junk e-mail.

Hi Mike
Did not really think you could go into much about the details of the show but I like to have inside info. like everyone does. I was just phishing you know you might call it buying maps for information. We are really lucky to have you posting the info that you do post and I’m grateful for the time you spend here.
Mary and I love the show and wish you and Jim the very best of luck. The show is on three times per week (at least) in our area so we catch it wed, and again over the weekend.
Regards,
Jerry

Hey Guys, Mike here –
I can’t really talk about what I would have done differently as of yet, but I will when the show concludes. I’ll try to answer some questions though.
As far as GPS, Cell phones and such – from the beginning we were not allowed to use any electronics – it was a map only deal, this was fine by me since Jim, my is awesome with a map. I also wanted to say, thanks for all the comments on the show and on the car, I really appreciate it and I’m glad everyone is enjoying the show – we worked hard to make it enjoyable for everyone.
For me it’s interesting to see the show everyone week because there is so much you don’t see – for example, I had no idea until the last episode that the Brother’s took the wrong ferry or that Dirty Rice and Paris got pulled over… it’s pretty cool.
Again, thanks guy and keep the questions coming – I’ll try to answer as many as I can.
Cheers – Mike (MrAngry)

I think Team Trans-Am is going to have a rocky relationship if they keep pulling stunts like lying to their “allies” and asking others to do the same. Can’t wait until the pressure kicks in and everyone starts driving a little harder between the time card swap challenges. Or maybe they will show case it a little more. Also, are GPS illegal? If not then why doesn’t someone swing by a Wal-Mart or auto store and pick one up?

Well I have to ask this: Now that it is over, what might you have done differently? I was kidding about not letting the girls get kicked off because of the cold nights, but I do believe in helping the weaker players so they will be the competition when things get difficult. I would really like to know how your plans might have changed if you had it to do over again.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hey Mr angry…first off id like to say your charger is amazing!!!…i also own one, a 1972 with a 440 in it. Second, bullrun is one of my fav shows, mainly because i can see what a charger can do aka the mr angry. lastly, id like to give you mad props on the bus challenge, incredible!!!…you showed everyone that a 40 year old car has what it takes to pull off a stunt like that!…Keeppp uppp the good work! hope you win!

Watched and loved the 2nd show. Mr. Angry, easy on the show boating. We all know you got the car to win so save her for big ending. Push it but don’t do anything, you know, stupid.
Got your back 100%…

That’s why I think I could win. I’m building my car for this type of running.

No rocket science here, plain to see that if they pushed their cars on the first stretch they’d have a lot of trouble finding the power to continue on. This is a long road rally and not a drag race, when I first saw the cars they were using to compete, I was stunned because most cars seen on rallys are balanced, reliable, and are UVs or fuel savers, not fuel-downing lambos and muscle cars. But, I also see where this all makes sense, you put real rally cars on the show, say a mini or land rover and nobody would really want to watch such a boring show. Would’ve been nice to see an awesome handling mini kick all their horsepower heavy butts.
My guess is that the Pontiac or the Honda wins, only if they stay focused on what they want.
Lastly, I wonder if the competitors were allowed to bring on-the-go supplies such as spare tires, gas, and all other things to bring on a long trip.
