Fast Equals Broke: 4×4 Action!

In Florida, I’d occasionally go to the mud pits with my buddies. But aside from that, I’ve had zero 4×4 experience. And I still don’t, actually. But driving this Jeep was rad. This is the rock crawling section of the Cooper Tires test facility, and it’s wild. First off, that white Jeep sounds like a tank, and it’s geared so low that at ten miles an hour it’s practically screaming. But it will go over rocks. Seriously. Rock crawling is really not something I can see myself getting into—it’s too slow and half the time is spent fixing broken stuff—but bouncing over this little stretch was pretty cool. I’m just glad I didn’t snap the drive-shaft …
