No Laughing Matter: Comedian Wrecks Enzo
Posted by: John "Just Lucky to be Here" |
Now I’ve never driven an Enzo, but I imagine they handle fairly well. And by fairly well, I mean that if you turn the steering wheel in the direction you’d like the car to travel, it will respond, even at extremely high speeds. But Eddie Griffin might feel differently. |

If you listen closely you can hear him give it gas, right before the car comes on screen. Definitely driver error… in doing so he unweights the front tires and gets no turn in. It doesn’t matter what you’re driving, you can’t change physics. Turn in, apex, then gas… unless of course you know how to drift.
Enzo, we’re sorry to see you go. We’ll all miss you, especially me :.(

Obviously the asshole actor named known as Eddie Griffin doesn’t know how to drive. Even more asinine are the directors and producers who put him behind the wheel… ever heard of stunt drivers?

It seems like every 3 months some idiot celebrity is subtracting from the Enzo pool of 400. Actually, it dosen’t seem that way, that’s what’s been happening over the last year or so.
I figure with every trashed Enzo, those who haven’t been moron-crunched have accumulated about $30,000 in value… shortly after impact.
Unfortunately, there will be nothing to stop this carnage (no pun intended). More will be trashed because celebrities who drive these cars are often average drivers – but the Enzo is far from the average car. Get a little bit daring and it’s eazy to over the edge and break the freaking thing in half.
There’s more to worry about, however, like Kevin Federline disgracing his by putting “Federline” on the calipers over “Ferrari”. Where will the madness end?

Isn’t it funny how exotics crash in dumb accidents and muscle cars usually only crash in races?

The enzo wasnt actually his car it belonged to a different guy that was there watching his pride and joy crash.
They were doing some filming for Redline when it all went bad, the car was written off and as such there are now (i think) 399 left in the world.

Looks like Eddie Griffin was also wearing one of the Boss jackets CarDomain was giving away a few weeks ago.

haha looks like someone was a little out of their league…you gotta give him credit though, at least he has the smarts to learn first on track instead of pissing away the money and then crashing on the street and possibly hurtin someone else

You see that dude just stand there behind the barrier? Either has possum slow reaction to danger or knew the enzo wasn’t any danger to hitting him (along with the flying debris).
