Our pals over at SoundDomain are running a contest, and quite frankly, the odds of winning right now are pretty good. All you need to do is hustle on over to the SoundDomain forum and leave a post explaining why you should win a $400 Precision Power A600/4 600 watt amplifier.

But make it snappy, because the contest ends on tax day, April 16th!

My car has been through a lot of trouble causing me to only drive it for a short period of time, (like 3 months out of a year). I have been through two engines and two subs. Then my damn subs aren’t reaching their full pontential, thanks to my ancient amp that just fried out. So this would be my big break if you could lend me this amp. I am almost broke by putting all my money into the motor, and fixing things to make me get from place two place. I recenty purchaced some speakes from Sounddomain.com (which i am really impressed with) and so far thats the only thing thats really working in my 1965 Thunderbird now. I might as well listen to my music rather than hear the roar of my engine for the time being.

I went over to their forum and I guess I’m not sound domain anymore, just car domain. Oh well, I’m not typing all that again and don’t think I have any roboform space left anyway to add another car space. Maybe someone in the powers that be with a heart can put in a good word for me and tell them to check out my story and my ride. I know there is someone there that likes Mopar and for a jelly doughnut can make things happen around there. Thank you.

When I first signed up it was Sound Domain I joined. But evidently it was a vision before it’s time. Maybe now is the perfect time. Here is my story. I work very hard for the little I have. I was fixing up my wife’s Izuzu Rodeo for interior creature comforts. It had an entry level Alpine CD player in it when we bought it so we stuck with that and had all Alpine everything. Then I get a call at work from my wife asking if I took her stereo stuff out for some reason. Of coarse this was news to me and left work and hurried home to a trail of speaker wires leading to nowhere. The insurance company said since I had no proof of what was actually in it only agreed to replace everything with entry level equipment. Car Domain/Sound domain pages are the best way to shut that agent up in a hurry when they see for themselves. Anyway… I reinstalled the inferior equipment and 2 months later during Christmas break someone smashed the rear window and stole everything again and this time took the sub tube that I had in my car that she was borrowing too. I didn’t even report it figuring they would think I was up to something. The insurance did replace the window. It is a very awful feeling being so violated. We moved away from there 4 months later and haven’t had a problem with theft since. If you view the wifes pages( MaMaMopar) and mine you will see I bought two cars last fall for top dollar and both ended up having used up engines. We have 2 kids and another due July 4th. People asked about my angelfactory ID and it’s because we have had 5 misscarriages and I got drunk and said damn it, I’m not a Angel factory and it took off from there.
Between all of our engine expenses and the kids there is nothing left. I think you can tell from my pages that I will put it to good use and send in some cool install pics as soon as it’s in. Thanks for reading my sob story. Trav

The amp would not be for me, it would be for my girlfriend. Our 1 year anniversery is April 6th. She would love this amp. She does not know I am doing this. She has a 1987 Dodge Dakota. It is a P.O.S, but she loves it, it runs great, just a little rusty. She is trying to put a system in it, but she does not have a job right now. She is 18, and this would be a great gift for her. Please help me out, I know she would love it. Thanks!

i have a 96 buick regal which is my first car… ive owned it for about a year now… now that its starting to look a little like summer in new york everyone’s takin out the cars.. and of course you really cant go around lookin cool in a 96 buick regal.. nd ever sense ive owned the car ive wanted to put a new system and rims lower it and make it one of a kind regal.. but everyone say’s put the money ito a nice car… so if i won this it would be the first step to showing everyone that just because its a granny car doesnt mean you cant make it look nice and still beat those 4 cyl honda’s crusin downthe road.
