A Van Apart

Buick isn’t doing much to shake its old-fart image. The highlight of their exhibit, this bifurcated Enclave minivan, is set amidst a backdrop reminiscent of a Macy’s cosmetics counter–complete with hanging snowballs and a meaningless water feature. Now, I’m all for finding creative ways to display the insides of minivans, and of the many cut-away demos at the show, this is one of the more ambitious. Still, the overall effect is a little blah.
