Grindhouse Charger on eBay
Posted by: Rob Editor-in-Chief |
I’m a Tarantino fan, but I’m definitely not a fan of production companies wrecking old and rare muscle cars. Here’s a 68 Charger (listed as a 69 for some reason) that they wrecked for the upcoming Tarantino film Grindhouse. Maybe it doesn’t matter too much cause rumor has it soon the guys at Hardcore Racing will be re-popping the entire 68-70 Charger body–so then all anyone will need is a VIN…

The whole point was not to go CGI. I hate seeing old muscle get destroyed, belive me. But the point of the movie was to return to the glory days of car movies with really crazy stunt work. If you ever catch the movie, I think you’ll be pretty impressed with the cars in it.

I got a Movie Car for Hollywood, looks and runs better than a Charger too. LOL

Aaagh!!! Isn’t that why they invented CGI? So they didn’t have to do this kind of stuff in the real world.
