Pontiacs Brave New World

Suzy Bruisy
Posted by: Jen
AKA SuzyBruisy

This is cool: Pontiac has its own island. Keen to reach out to the lucrative youth market, the manufacturer has created a whole virtual world on the island of Motorati, where car-loving sims can chat, play, go out dancing, attend virtual car shows and race their own custom-built Solstice GXPs. For free, you can create your own virtual identity at the site and then explore the roadside diners, nightclubs and a multitude of driving simulators, including the Drift or Die zombie attack track, where the object is to smash a horde of invading corpses into oblivion. While Suzy Bruisy obviously objects to such unwarranted violence against the living-impaired, she certainly can’t stop anyone else from giving it a whirl. Go register at the Motoratilife website (hint: make up a bizarre and unheard-of name, because nearly all real names are already taken). And don’t forget to download Second Life, the software program that makes Motorati possible.
