GM nails it again with this trio of attractive micro-bots. Developed primarily by GM’s Korean design team, these cute-as-a-button concept vehicles include (from foreground to farthest) the Groove, the Trax, and the Beat. The Groove’s sleek matte "Lunar Quartz" finish is an expensive nod to black primer, intended to evoke the look of "retro hot rods." The front-wheel drive Trax, with limited slip and an independent electric motor to drive the rear wheels for occasional AWD, is kind of like a My Little Pony pretending it’s a SUV. And the Beat, the "tuner" of the bunch, gets a turbo’d 1.2L engine, making it substantially zippier than the 1.0L-powered Trax and Groove.
