I don't think that Toyota is humbled really. I think the reason we're seeing Toyota struggle early on this year is the fact that they had to play "catch up" to the other car makers on the current car and... at the same time build the COT. With all the teams having issues with the COT (minus Hendricks) Toyota now has a much better chance to be competitive.

Toyota will do well in the sport.. it just takes time.

I'm a Chevy owner and fan but I am excited to see Toyota do well.

Type: Camry Racing V8
Displacement: 358 cu. In.
Power: 800 hp
Induction: Normally aspirated with 830-cfm carburetor
Engine development: TRD, U.S.A., (Toyota Racing Development)
Its all a game of similar numbers and chassis to get a car with its own number out there apparently. We as Americans watching it from the beginning with an american hillbilly heart is going away...
I like the car of tomorrow specs, centering the driver like a mclaren.
Getting a driveline mounte like an old 2wd subaru or a Ferrari f40 on the back would be quite a leap. Nascar needs the humbling, if adding knowledge and evolution humbles... there is clearly a learning curve not up to par.
