Face Off! Vega vs. Gremlin!

For our second Face Off we’re pitting a 425 hp Vega vs. a 540 hp Gremlin. These are some tough little cars. So check out their ride pages and then vote for the one you like best. The winner gets a new set of tires from Discount Tire Co.

wow i really dont know i would like both cars for my project. ive always been a gremlin fine but i do like the prostreet look of the vega
but im still gonna go with the AMC

The amc is a rare sight, but very normal considering tires. The vega on the other hand… I went with the vega, liking both cars. I simply choose the vega because the vega is setup to go through alot of “dragster things” especially tires according to his page.

Gremlin all the way.. They are both cool, and Im sure they both put a lot of work into them, but the gremlin is something you dont see all the time, let alone with 540 horse. I wonder what kind of gas milage it gets?>

Got to vote for the vega. Putting a V8 were a V8 used to be, easy. Putting a V8 were a 4cyl used to be, not easy.

That is an awesome Vega, but I had to vote for the Gremlin… (There’s an old lady in town where I live and she drives a little orange Gremlin with the original Levi interior, it’s her grocery runner and it is sweet! … I have a soft spot for the Gremlins…)

That Vega looks scary fast with the big-n-littles. I think it should get a lot of votes based on the fear factor alone. But the Gremlin is obviously fast, plus it might actually handle turns OK too.

Gremlin, baby. Anybody can build a 1-800-Chevrolet nowadays. Plus, the Gremlin page is easier on the eyes.

OK, now we are for certain comparing oranges with oranges. Kind of a tuff call in my opinion. I will hold off voting until I have given this a little more thought. Going to visit both ride pages again.
