Cool Pacer
Posted by: Rob Editor-in-Chief |
Chris Allen wanted to build a Pacer that would make people drool. With a motor swap, black paint, custom interior and American Racing 200S wheels I’d say he accomplished his goal. Be sure to check out his ride page for the full story and more pics.

Wow, thanks for the mention on the Blog, what a cool surprise.
The car is currently off getting custom headers and the 3″ dual exhaust bent. It’ll be back in a week and on the road…so look for a ton of updates and a new photo shoot then.
The 401 will be putting down about 420 hp and 460 ft/lbs torque at the crank. Not too bad for a car that’s smaller than my Scion tC! Mated with to the 5-speed stick, I’m looking to tear up some track soon!
I’ll also be working on the interior (buttoning up the dash and working on a new sound system) so stay tuned for that as well.
Finally, if anyone wants to see the car in person, I’ll be on the Hot Rod Power Tour this June. Thanks again for the mention, and how about some help getting my rating up eh?
