I blogged it a few days ago and thought it was kind of a joke when it got over $1 million. But $9.9 Million??? Come on… According to CNN, that’s the second most expensive car ever auctioned, after a fricken Bugatti. I love Mopars and I love the Dukes of Hazzard, but this is stupid.

Hi, I'm rich

It’s a piece of American history. A mil MAYBE but 9.9? That car should get 100 mpg and should never break down. Then one could by it.

yah the “winning bidder” was obviously a bs bid.

The guy is one of those Flea market knife and sword sellers.. so dont think he had 9 mil just kicking around

I think that 10mil for this car is outragious. What was this person thinking? Thats what I call being really stupid.Who in their right mind would do this of course that person was’nt in their right mind…

I think this is yet another scam! There is no way that somebody would be that stupid to pay 9.9 million. This is nothing but a publicity stunt set up by Ebay. I just hope Ebay waived their fees and nobody has to actually pay the selling percentage on the 9.9 mil. Its funny how Ebay sets out so many rules for us, but lets crap like this take place. What a joke !

Wow. In practicality’s point of view a: 1987 subaru 4×4 with dual range , 150hp, and 55mpg is worth at least 9.9 billion….

Look at the buyer’s other auctions. It’s all nickel and dime stuff–including a $15 hard drive. And then he drops $10 million on this? It just doesn’t add up.

And jackass is one word.

$9.9 Million Dollars for a modified 1969 Dodge Charger with a 426 HEMI under the hood, oh yeah did I forget, its John Schneider’s.

Bottom Line, that’s one fine ride for a premium price, whoever purchased that, enjoy that one…but will that person or group (the owner) drive it? What love to know the answer, its got a HEMI, burn some tires and have fun.

Interesting. So a guy can go from selling a used $15 hard drive to spending $10 mil on a General Lee. I must be doing something wrong.
