Three cheers for General Zaragoza, who made my current hangover possible by defeating the French 145 years ago:
- Now you can pay for auto insurance by the mile: Newsweek
- What part of the $3.50 a gallon I’m paying will go to the cable company for putting TV on a gas pump? Winding Road
- Fiat is planning to sell Alfa Romeos in Maserati dealerships. A word of caution: if you walk in looking for an Alfa, don’t let the salesman sell you a Quattroporte. DetNews
- Chrysler is putting together a hemi-powered, V8 hybrid. You’ll be able to drive a "green" car that gets 13 mpg when the V8 is being used. On second thought, what’s the point? LA Times

I agree with Steve on the Oxymoron of a life time being a V8 Hybrid. I love my V8’s but if they want to get fuel concsious then they should start going with smaller displacement V8’s or turbo/supercharged V6’s. It just makes more sence to use proven technology.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2173565 I have to be gas concious, look what I drive.

Completely not needed. Why is there a tv (an HDTV no less) at a pump? Or a better question why should there be one? Who’s paying for this? If it’s the oil company payin for this, don’t you think they should spend on something useful, oh say, CANCER?!?!
Oxymoron defined: A V8 hybrid.
