About that “boycott” of the gas stations. I saw what the article said a mile away. Supply and demand are the basic part of it but there is so much more to bringing down prices than one can write down. If we all went out and bought hybrids, yes, prices would go down because demand is down. But around Memorial Day, Labor Day and other holidays prices will shoot right back up because demand is up even if supply is up. If prices are to go down we need to do a LOT more than not fill up for ONE day. It needs to be a bit more complicated than that because the oil companies are much more smarter than one would think.
