Hot Hatch Alert!! Meet the Golf GTI W12 650 Concept

OK, I don’t even know if I can consider this a Golf GTI or not. The creative geniuses at VW have converted the new MKV GTI into a mid-engined RWD bi-turbo 6.0L 12-cylinder monster! Known as the Golf GTI W12 650 Concept, this bad-boy produces 650 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. That’s good enough for 0-62 in 3.7 seconds, and a top speed of 201mph!

I don’t expect VW to produce this amazing masterpiece, but the fact that they built it gives us some insight into the direction and focus of the company since Martin Winkerton took over not too long ago.

Sure the story may be true but those pictures a photoshopped. Reflections on the wrong side of the car. It was either a photo shoot chopped onto a different background, fake pictures of a fake car, fake bunny or an artist’s rendering. Lighting is wrong in the picture, the wheels in motion look fake etc…
