Maserati Coupe: Hot or Not?

I love Italian cars, but honestly I’m not entirely sold on the latest Maserati offerings. Ok, the Quattroporte is pretty dope, but I’m not sure about the Coupe. Honestly, it seems a tad bland to me. But I’ve been seeing a ton of Coupes around Seattle, so some people must like ‘em. Who? I’m thinking it’s the right car for a guy or gal who thinks 911s are too, well, German (and anyway, everyone on Left Coast has a 911). I’d really like to see Maserati come out with another Bora. (I’d also like to see Alfa come back to the US so us Italophiles would have more options, but that’s another topic.) What do you guys think?

The Maserati above is from the coach builder Italdesign. A handsome and proportioned coupe. The 2008 coupe is coming from Pinninfarina who is the brainchild of the Maserati Quattroporte, both handsome and more exciting than the Italdesgin coupe. Next year N.America will see 99 Alfa 8C’s and in 2009 a partial Alfa Romeo lineup. Grazie Dio.

I mean you could say its bland, but if you find your name on the title, and the keys in your hand its another story. either way the car is hot,
remember when those civics and 240sx’s pull up next to you, this car will dominate the streets.

I love the Coupe, the only reason I would want Maserati to change it is because it’s looked this way a long time.
