This Just In: New on the Net

Caveat Emptor: One of the "news sources" I link to today is actually not a good place to get any kind of news. What can I say? I’m lazy:
- Plug-in cars aren’t actually a way to reduce gasoline consumption, they are a way to siphon electricity from your boss and neighbors. Oh the humanity of it all: Energy Tribune, defender of all things petroleum
- AutoWeek says GM may be able to sell a better hybrid than the Prius. Will Volt vs. Prius in blue states go the way of Impala vs. Camry at Darlington? Autoweek
- Anyone looking to buy some European auto brands? Ford is putting Volvo, Jaguar, and Land Rover on the block. No word yet on how this will help John get his Jag running: Freep
- Senators ripped auto makers for resistance to raising fuel standards. Fortunately, they didn’t call out anyone who bought a SUV in the last 20 years, instead of taking their kids to soccer practice on the back of a bicycle: DetNews

I have a solution too gas prices and mileage, make more money and buy more gas till its gone. ride bigger wheels and put heavier subs in your trunk, it worked for me, i used to get 22 MPH now im up to about 14MPH.
