OSTON (Reuters) – Eight states sued the maker of Camel cigarettes on
Tuesday, charging that a promotion in an issue of Rolling Stone magazine
violates a 1998 agreement not to use cartoons in its marketing efforts.
The suits focus on ads for the Camel brand, produced by R.J. Reynolds
Tobacco Co., which appeared in a nine-page foldout section in the
November 15 issue of the music and popular culture magazine. The
section, titled “Indie Rock Universe,” is designed to look like doodling
in a student’s spiral-bound notebook, with drawings of planets made to
look like animals and characters. It features Camel’s name and logo.

Two words for ya: VEHICULAR WEAPONRY. In the 80’s there was a game called Car Wars, which posited a Mad Max-esque dystopian future where “autoduelling” was a phenomenon much akin to street racing today. Really, if they’re going to attack you anyhow, why just run? Fight back. You’re already spending thousands for modifications just to go fast, why not a few dollars more for weapons and armor? One would think the cops would find something better to do (read; easier prey) if they never knew if that “rice rocket” they were pulling behind might be mounting rear-firing machineguns…

Since when can you (officer) crush my vehicle,one i paid HARD earned cash for,bust my ass in modifying(i do it myself)give you the right to smash MY car,not the goverment,not your wife,not your son’s,MY freaking car!These politicians are winding me up…Not everybody races in the street,most race at a track….Lets say i get stopped for speeding…How can a speeding stop leaD TO YOU CHECKING WATS UNDER MY HOOOD?You probably violated some type of privacy right,but since i live in NY,i guess i wont experience your absolute invasion…But in case that ever happens which i know wont,you cannot confiscate my car unless it is involved in a felony,RACING is not a felony,CRIMANALLY that is!!!!..Now under motorvehicles standarsd…Suspension of your license is more appropiate..Brothas look up the laws in your state….research could mean the diff’ betweeen your car getting mashed,plus theres ALWAYS a LOOP HOLE…SINCERELY ,MURDERER charged wit manslaughter…….

I love how this turned into an old generation vs. the new generation. So old generation, this law is fucking stupid because it will increase casualties, reckless driving and destruction. When these kids say they’ll outrun the cops, they mean they don’t want to lose their ride and when you know the cops will crush one of the few things you actually care about, you throw caution out the window. They’ll pullover for a ticket, but once you put their car in danger, they’ll finally listen to that voice that says “run.” Plus, who wouldn’t want the opportunity to test their racing skills with a cop? (if there were no consequences.)

fuck you jonatahn four eye asshole, (no disrespect for any other guy that uses glasses) but this is bullshit im not a racer i just love the engine roaring…. but this is why out of limit in fact this does not do anything to prevant more racing if a racer is going to race noting can hold him or her. its just a traffic violation for god sake….

This is what America has become. The government has no right to destroy an individual’s property over a traffic violation. When are we going to stop taking this $hit?
