Good Stuff From the Good Old Days.

Back in the golden days of car audio, a lot of electronics were made by hand. If you were persistent enough, competed and/or knew someone on the inside of a manufacturer, you could get some pretty cool custom work done. Everything from custom colors, silk screening, finishes on heatsinks, and having several amps mounted on one chassis was available for someone with the right connections. This crazy eBay find is a custom Zapco amp made for a competitor back in the 1990s, and it’s probably one of a kind. In this case they built a custom chassis with 5 ampliers built in (3 2 channels, 1 larger 2 channel for bass and a smaller 4 channel for the highs). Thanks to AudioJunkies for the find.
