CarDomain in the News

By Rob

Editor-in-Chief

Wanna see what the mainstream media thinks of us? Read this story that was published Friday in our local paper, the Seattle PI. The PI seemed almost as amazed as we are that we survived nine years and the dot-com bust. Thanks Rajan for keeping us on track! Thanks Alex for hanging tough all these years! And thanks to our members all around the world!

Hey Jerry -

We have a forum in The CarDomain Garage for general discussion and help. Rob, John, and myself hang out there and answering your questions. You can find it here: http://forum.cardomain.com/groups/10021/forums

You’ll have to join the group in order to post in the forum. Just look for the “Join This Group” link on the left navigation bar once you’re in the forum.

Hi Rob
I wish you would put some kind of general Blog here so we could comment about the Groups etc. Looking forward to the changes. I know a little of course but will not give anything away. You could drop some little hints along the way though.

I know you have likely given up for the night but when ever you do get back on it might be interesting to put a little more on the Blog.

I have family coming in from Calif. Jerry Jr. and name sake Grandson Jerry III really looking forward to their visit. Jerry Jr. is in Law Enforcement in Calif. and Grandson is in Sheriff’s Explorers and he has a Black belt in karate. Oh, Jerry Jr. just bought a Lightning truck.

IMPRESSED, but not surprised.

I’m not surprised cardomain survived the “dot com bust”. Surviving the bust meant cardomain had something to offer, and was worthwhile for car and truck enthusiasts.

I’ve searched the web for sites like these. The search yielded cadomain and the rest, in that order.

The features, content, active attendance, commerce, exposure, & communication tools combined has not been matched elsewhere.

best of all, cardomain is apparently keeping up the “good work”

Congrats to all who made this site what it is.

A young woman was pulled over in Austin , Texas for speeding. As the TX State Trooper walked to her car window, flipping open his ticket book, she said, “I bet you are going to sell me a ticket to the Texas State Trooper’s Ball.” He replied, ” Texas State Troopers don’t have balls.” There was a moment of silence while she smiled and he realized what he’d just said. He then closed his book, got back in his patrol car and left. She was laughing too hard to start her car.

What exciting times to be a member. One day we’ll think back and wonder how we lived without all the new features. Heck, it’s tough to think of life without CarDomain! Keep the good work coming!

I was skeptical at first but, now it’s a daily visit and I’m totally hooked. All you guys need now is a forum to attach to your site and it’s going to be the greatest automotive site on earth.
Keep up the great work
Evan

Hi Rob

That was a very nice article. Mary and I really like CarDomain and I am still convinced that it is simply the worlds largest auto show.

I love the changes that you have made to the site. Oh, I hate the down time (not as bad as you do) but the return is always so great.

I truly congratulate all the guys and gals that keep CarDomain on track.

Jerry
PS I know I’m a little opinionated now and again but at least I’m an upbeat person.
