Recognize This Plate?

How are you with car movie trivia? Most of you guys are gonna know what Kowalski drove in Vanishing Point and what Steve McQueen drove in Bullitt. But do you remember their license plates? George posted in the CarDomain Garage forum and alerted me to this list of license plates that his prop company has made for Hollywood over the last 50 years. Here are a few of his favorites, and here’s a PDF of the complete list.

If I am not mistaken, that plate was on a 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback painted a dark Green. I didn’t even have to read the post to know that that was Bullitt’s plate.
Great movie and I hear a recreation is in the works with Brad Pitt as Bullitt and he will be driving a Bullitt edition 2008 Ford Mustang. That will be interesting.
