Doors with a Twist (or should I say Slide?)

I’ve always thought door mods on cars were cool but, this Lincoln takes the cake. I wonder why Lincoln never took this idea and took it to market. I can see a few reasons. Not that appealing inside and too many things to go wrong on the outside. However, for the guy who wants to take their ride to the next level, I would think this would be high on the list. This car was recently on eBay, but didn’t make the reserve. So if you’re interested in acquiring this rare piece of history, you might get another shot.

This is not the first attempt at this door mod. Check out the BMW Z1, the doors are very similar and were featured on the production model

They are pretty crazy aren’t they. Think of how many less door dings there would be if everybody had doors like that. It’d would actually be a pretty need mod on a Truck as there is usually lots of room on those..

I had to look at the video three times to believe it. Wow, what a concept! Some big time work went into that but it should win everything when it comes to doors.

uhh…add a couple guns, some arms, some legs, and a robotic voice and that lincoln could be a transformer.

those doors are frickin awesome!
