This is not the first attempt at this door mod. Check out the BMW Z1, the doors are very similar and were featured on the production model

They are pretty crazy aren't they. Think of how many less door dings there would be if everybody had doors like that. It'd would actually be a pretty need mod on a Truck as there is usually lots of room on those..

uhh...add a couple guns, some arms, some legs, and a robotic voice and that lincoln could be a transformer.
