Hi, I tried it again and it still isn’t working. I went through all of the pictures and it’s only numbers 5, 6 and 56 that aren’t working. Oh well… Thanks for having a look to see if it worked there

In retrospect I could’ve turned in a better entry. Oh well. Lesson learned!

Almost time! Lots of great entries! Not sure how mine will fare against the competition, but it was fun to do, and sparked some really creative ideas. Good luck to all, my money is on the Transformer! >:P (I think we should name it Niamod Rac.)

Car #56 works fine here as well.

Hey Matthew. I just tried #56 on a bunch of machines here at CarDomain, everything was coming up fine. Can you try again and see if the problem is still happening for you?

The picture of my car doesn’t seem to open. It’s number 56, and says that it cannot find the file. http://images.cardomain.com/sites/cardomain/features/scion_2007_xd/images/paint_entries/paint_entrant_056.jpg
Hmmmm……weird…..

Just a public thanks to the staff at Cardomain… I voiced my frustration in the public forum, so I should do the same with my gratitude. Brian and the crew went above and beyond to help me get my submissions posted. Thanks a lot guys!!! I really, really appreciate it!! Now when I don’t win, I only have my lack of photoshop abilities to blame. There are some really cool ideas to pick from… nice job everyone who entered.

15, 23, 61… If the car will represent CarDomain, it really should have the CarDomain logo on it, IMO.
There’s one suspiciously similar to the flamed sides of 15, except with a red roof that dosen’t work at all.
Nonetheless, a few others without the logo turned out pretty awesome.

I’m very, very impressed with some of the paint schemes. They managed to make that butt-ugly car look VERY good. Finding it very hard to pick one I like best.

Did you guys still not get mine? I sent it yesterday. Oh well, I suppose I’m pretty far behind in voting anyway. Thanks.

No. As stated in the previous blog post entries will be taken until midnight PST July 22nd. Timing refers to the contest as a whole. The entire contest from introduction until completion of voting will run July 1 – 31, meaning we will close all voting July 31 and announce a winner August 1.

“3. Timing: The Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”), July 02, 2007 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT, July 31, 2007 (the “Promotion Period”).”
“Limit: Each participant may play (1) time per day during the Promotion Period.”
According to the rules, the “promotion period” for entries isn’t over anyway. Keep sending entries. >:)

Yeah. JIC, I’m going to resend all mine and see what happens. Maybe it will help if they don’t have to go pull mine directly off the blog.

Hey Jason – we’re tracking down your entry. The designer was out and may not have received your submission in the proper format. We’ll get it up there to be voted on. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks Greg! My car’s taken a TON of work to get it to where it is. More mods on the way too keep watching. New Clutch, Trans, radiator, and a/c system on the way. Jason and VanPelt, I suppose the world isn’t fair sometimes. Mine still isn’t posted…I suppose $1,000 isn’t that big of a deal? Oh well.

Wow Lots of great rides. Are you guys going to post the results? It would have been cool to see how the voting was going….

Just thought I’d voice my disappointment for the record. I submitted a scheme in a format that you guys couldn’t open. I received an email asking me to resubmit the image in a different format, so I sent it as a reply to the person who contacted me. Evidently that person hasn’t been in the office since and therefore my submission isn’t included on the voting page. It might have been a contender, and I spent a fair amount of time on it…. just sorry to see it doesn’t even get to be included in the contest and be given a fair chance with the other participants…. I’m bummed, and maybe a little pissed… That said, I’m done whining.

I never received an e-mail! I’ll re-submit it right now! Sorry for the confusion, thanks!

Hey Chris, yours was one of the images we couldn’t open. You should have received an e-mail on 7/24 from one of our designers asking you to re-submit the image in Bitmap or Jpeg formats. If you can resubmit the image I will get it up on the voting section.

Alright, so why isn’t mine
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a98/HiFiCarGuy/xD2toneO-BSDH.jpg
posted in the list? Mine was used as an example a week or so ago, and quite a few entries copied my basic idea, and now I don’t get credit or a chance in the voting? Come on, not cool guys. I even e-mailed my entry to the given e-mail address a day after the contest was initially posted. I’m not whining, or b*tching or anything, I just don’t understand. Thanks.
