Year One Bandit
By Evan
AKA NWSilverado
As a kid growing up one of my favorite car movies was Smokey and the Bandit. I loved the great roar of the Trans Am as it outran the fuzz and dodged in and out of traffic. And poor old Jackie Gleason chasing Burt across the country with his idiot son cracked me up. Well it looks like the crew over at Year One have come up with their vision for the Bandit called the Ban III. I do feel however that they are wayyyyyyyyyyyy out of line with their pricing. $129,900 seems a bit steep to me. What do you think?

You would have to have more money than sense to purchase such a cliche’ vehicle.

Yes the car is very nice and most likely worth the money, but for me and most people out there it would only be a dream to own something like that.

$129,900 is alot of money for that car, but that price is for the Ban1. The Ban3 fully option out will cost you $260,000 and they have sold 4 so far.

conciderin whats all done to it Ill say its well worth it. It would probley cost you about the same or more if you do it yourself but then that takes a good long while for somethin like this. Id rather pay 130,000 for this than some sports cars car concidering the trans am would probley blow its doors away.

I’d say since you’re dealing with a tube-frame chassis and a lot of other labor-intensive workand expensive parts , the price is reasonable.

the price is good look at everything they did to it then price that ad labor and a little profit sounds like a good price

I wouldn’t mind having one. Price is sorta reasonable being its a frame off resto with modern mods but for the price, I think I would prefer the Caddillac XLR-V.
