Using Your Wii Mote As An Accelerometer

Now I’m a bit of a tech head, but this seems over the top for me. Apparently, some smart physics kid decided he could use his Nintendo Wii Mote as an Accelerometer. Just need a nifty program that works on your laptop, a solid place to put your wiimote in your car, and Microsoft Excel; and you’re all set to go. Now I just have to find a way to convince the wife that I need a Wii…
