Hemi 'Cuda Vert Sells for $1.8 Million on eBay

By Rob

Editor-in-Chief

This ‘Cuda is one of only fourteen 1970 Hemi ‘Cuda verts, and one of only five 4-speeds. The custom paint job is 37 years old. The previous owner bought this car seven years ago for $465,000, so I guess it was a pretty decent investment. Still, in the last year or two a few Hemi ‘Cuda verts have sold for over $2 million. So is the market finally softening?

I’ve been around this car for quite a few years. If you morons could have actually seen the paint in person you would know, it is truely awesome. There are many Plum Crazy Purple Cuda’s, but only one that will ever look like this. Just my 2 cents.

Nah I think Bobby is right, either a nice plum crazy purple or black would make this thing look sweet. That 38 year old paintjob blows. People had some really bad taste in the 70′s.

Yeah then drop it on some 22′ Daytons, and ruin the car, nice idea Bobby.

what a disgusting paint job! That car deserves WAY better than that. I think a fresh coat of Plum Crazy Purple would do it justice.
