Pushin’ Product, Pinchin’ Pennies.

Doing regular maintenance on the wife’s car isn’t something most guys brag about. Of course, I’m not most guys. And with the price of gas still hovering around three bucks up here in Seattle, I’m looking for ways to save pennies any way I can. So this weekend, I decided to replace the air filter on my wife’s 2004 Kia Sedona with a K&N 33-2268 drop-in, change the oil, and check the tire pressure. If you’re interested in the nuts and bolts of the operation, check out the full how-to on my Kia Member page. Now, I realize these aren’t the most glamorous things you can do to a car, but hopefully, the 30 minutes I spent will give me a 10% boost in mileage.

Shoot, the very first thing I did to my truck when I got it was throw away the stock air intake and put in a whole CAI system. I don’t regret it. Hey Juan great write up. For those just starting out should follow your steps. The initial cost pays off after only a short while.
