What Did You do This Weekend?

A few of us from CarDomain went down to Drift Office in Auburn, where the very gracious Bob and his staff treated our cars to dyno pulls on his state-of-the-art Dynojet. Dan’s sleeper Sentra totally dominated. Art seemed a little broken up over his results, but the "All Show, No Go" award went to yours truly by a longshot! All in all, it was a blast. Watch for our dyno footage on CarDomain video later today.

But in the meantime: what did you do this weekend? Tell us!

Team Streetimagesct attended NOPI NATLS in ATL where 5 of 7 placed 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, and 3rd in their classes. A partner of Cardomain took photos of my car and gave me a decal. that was my Big weekend.

I replaced the rear shocks & serpentine belt on my “new” firebird convertible.

While I was at it, I surveyed the exhaust system from front to back. It’s slated for complete removal and replacement with Pacesetter headers, a new hi-flow cat and flowmaster beyond that. The only problem is that the flowmaster cat-back systems include exhaust tips, which I don’t want. I’ll be using forked oval stainless tips instead so I guess I’ll just have to Ebay the ones from flowmaster.

Hey,

Does anyone has experience installing the Dash speakers on a 05 – 06 Dodge Stratus?

i went to the cruise in and got some cool pics..but on the way home my cooling fan switch wiring CAUGHT ON FIRE (just briefly tho) so my switch is toast…and im working on getting the modules/sensors etc to get the fan working like it was originally made to.

Went to the Nopi Nationals!!!! Was the best one for me in the last 4 years I have been. Finally got to enter a car in even though it wasn’t at all ready. But it was cheaper to enter than to buy two tickets so I fingured why not. I’ll have pics up later on today.

Of course you’re right, Sean. The veedub is awesome in every way and it made a fantastic showing on the dyno this weekend. But like, don’t you think turbo is kind of cheating?

Awww Sean – you’ve just got to remember that your car LOOKS so fast that everyone expects it to perform miracles. Dan’s has that sleeper thing going on.
