Photoshop Firebird Concept!

Rob’s blog about Cars photochops got me to thinking: has anyone made a Firebird out of the new Camaro body? No sooner had I done a Google search on this question when the answer hit me like a sock full of nickels. Photochopping genius Kevin Morgan has done not one, but several intriguing designs for a retro-styled Firebird. The first one is what I affectionatly call the Bandit, a shiny black with the gold screaming chicken on the hood. Morgan has also done a variant on this color scheme with a front clip made to look like the mid-70′s ‘birds. The bright blue color scheme on this one is remeniscent of the Skybirds of ’77-’79; and this design is a definite Indy pace car contender, a white convertible with clean-but-mean blue racing stripes. I know everyone is all anxious with the return of the Camaro, but nothing would get my blood pumping and bank accounts drained faster than for one of these sweet ideas to come to fruition.

What no Snowflake Mag wheels!?!? At least Year one has that part right. and LS2 what the heck lets go for the ls4 or even go four wheel in hub electric motors and really move into the furture.!!!

i like the look, it brings back the grill from the 1977 bodystile, but i think it needs a little more work to look a little less like the camaro although if they came out with this body i would bye it

Hey,
I like the idea that yall are bringing back the trans am but dude you have to make them with a T-top or it just wouldnt be a trans am. i mean seriously what would the Bandit say. so plz plz you have to bring it back with the T-top and and bring it back right.

This car has a retro sweet look & Firebird mojo. One question boggles my mind though. Why so Camaro-like? It apears as though everything but the grill & hood are ripped right from the Camaro concept. More thought should be thrown into making the new “Bird” a car that can fly with its own wings. For now, thogh, i’ll just pretend Chevy & Pontiac are brothers but not twins.

Darn! When I was a teen an got a chance to drive one of these lovelies I about died!
I swore I would get one someday. But as an adult I want safety features and fuel injection(hate carbs).
I would buy this in a new york second! Blue especially. The medium blue metallic Bird always got my heart jumping!
Common GM get with the ‘program’ and build cars like these NOW before GM goes bankrupt. Stop selling boring sedans, trucks and SUVs.
We want the Volt, Camaro, Firebird. How bout one of these camaros with a flatbead and call it the ElCamino!!!!
Why is it I can figure out what people want but the dopes at GM can’t?
