What Is Your Favorite Car Color?

By Rob

Editor-in-Chief

I like green. Especially dark green. For Mopars that would be F8 green. For Mustangs that would be Dark Highland Green. For MGs, Jags, Cobras, etc., that would be British Racing Green (the "Racing Green" used by Lotus is a bit too light and metallic for my tastes). For Italian cars, though, I tend to prefer red or silver.

What is your favorite car color?

Dark Highland Green

I like the Subaru blue, the Mazda blue, and the Nissan Z blue, which I got my car painted. Especially if you accent the blue with lots of black, like I plan on doing to my car. I’ve got some pretty good photoshops so you can see what I mean!

I like the orange available for the Lotus Elise. But if I was going to get a big car, I’d go for black.

Tough, but I’d have to go with black. When its all cleaned up and shiny, it looks spectacular. Dirty, not so much! lol Although I do love Infiniti’s dark silver too…

For Mustangs, I love ‘em in any color(except Playboy Pink). For Mopars, I love Sublime Green. I think that color combined with flat black accents really allows it to exude muscle.

anything natural with metal in it. Even brown turns to champagne/pink. White becomes pearlish. Certain blues become the sky. Yellows and Reds and greens and everything else becomes something with metal in it. and oh.. it is safe to assume a longer lasting car body.

I forgot about black. It looks fantastic on any car. Unforntunetely it shows every tiny imperfection, can’t stay clean for more then ten minutes and is cooks the car if you leave it in the sun.

Theres no choice in car colors any more. You can’t have white because it looks like a fleet car, everybody has a silver or grey car now, red is immature and attracts cops, yellow and orange are just wrong, purple and pink are out for obvious reason and green looks bad on most regular cars. Nope. The only real choice left is blue, my favorite color for my cars. Monaco blue by BMW to be specific.

Gotta love my car in Flint Mica, but a nice blue always did it for me. British Racing Green looks great too and has such a cool name, how can you not like it?

For me, it depends what the car is. I love black-cherry red on some cars, dark plum (purple) on other cars…. it all depends. I can even go for pink on the right ride.

Black! Although I do tend to gravitate towards certain darker shades of silver, just because black shows dirt so easily :(
