Getting Lucky: Vegas Style!

Every time I come to Sin City, I put a dollar into a random slot machine. And I expect to lose. Why? Because smart investors don’t take loans to build billion dollar hotels—yup, I meant to say billion—and then bleed capital watching tourists cash in fat stacks of chips. Vegas makes money from folks losing money. Period. That’s why there are fountains in the middle of the desert and buildings which look so completely unreal. Anyway, tonight, Jen and I walked to three different places trying to have dinner—every place was slammed—and I won 14.50 playing slots while we waited for a table. Is it stupid luck? Doesn’t matter. Almost 15 bucks! Awesome! Am I a high roller now?
