Post-Industrial Sublime

Check out Gwen’s Grand Prix. She did much of the bodywork and sprayed that luminous House of Kolor candy-lime and black two-tone. Not only did the paint turn out beautifully, she’s got some great glam-shots of the car amidst all kinds of interesting backdrops, including this dilapidated warehouse district in Buffalo, NY—one of my favorite crumbling upstate burghs.

The best thing about Gwen’s page is the paint / mod pictures. I don’t know if it’s the mist from paint or what, but the environment in those pics reminds me of movie scenes when monsters are born or emerge i.e.: Godzilla being awakened… Pumpkin Head being reborn, etc. Very cool imagery and the end result is even fitting. Green and black are monster kinda colors.

Cool that she helped with the body and paint. I’ve only known a couple of girls who were willing/able to do that kind of stuff. Hey Gwen, feel free to come over and help me with my ride any time.
your rig looks great.
