SEMA always brings out the best-of-the-best in the automotive aftermarket community. It’s like stepping into a tuner’s dream world—more chrome, polished metal, and carbon fiber than you can shake a wrench at. This year’s sport compact offering was a bit smaller than previous years, but the overall quality was nothing short of amazing. Check out our top picks in detail with many more pics in the Best of SEMA 2007: Sport Compact coverage, then vote for your favorite. Think we could have made a better choice? Let us know.

The Scion Challange was a joke.. THe Hybrid car was about as detailed and well thought out as a prostate exam by captain hook. THe white Scion and the Koshak Scion was the 2 it should of come down to. I guess when you room with the judges and the judges are either current or past members of Hybrid its no wonder they won.. Hey Hybrid… Next time detail the car before it gets to the show…. that thing looked like it was driven thru a pond. and next time ….. if you are going to go to all the trouble to puta turbo on a car… hook it up….. enough window dressing!!! I think the other 2 cars got the shaft… and didnt even stand a chance becuase of the fact that it was evident of how rigged the judging was.

Oh by the way…. Any hybrid guys read this… Here is a few pointers for you on what not to do -

- Dont room with the judges
- Dont let your judge buddies talk crap about the other cars in the contest when there is people including other competitors standing over your shoulder.
- Detail the car next time
- Dont tell the trucking Company to come get it tomorrow.. Deliver your car in the same time frame as everybody else. If you cant get it done in the time allotted… DONT DO IT!!
-hook up your turbo next time
-make sure your car actually runs!!!
-it isnt about how much bolt up crap you can put on a car from another country
-Dont tell your judge buddies to “Accidently” drop and loose the score sheets to cover their asses when they are asked to see the judging sheets
-if you are going to rig the competition atleast make sure that the person who is doing the presentations can speak fluent english and they actually know something about the car…. like actually be able to know what went on the car and how it works and whos parts are on it…

Good Job Team (Insurance Fraud) I mean Hybrid… that trophy was well paid for….

Those are really impressive. Not sure which one I like the best, I’d have to really think about it. From the coverage on the SEMA Insider site, it looks like there was so amazing stuff there (as always) this year!

The WRX is the best I think but those rims are cheap, my boy got a Red GTO and he paid 1,900 with like the best tires, he’s gone through 4 pairs since then but that’s besides the point.

I don’t think any of them deserve best of show…
