Oh why can’t they make it more faithful to the original? It’s a poor pastiche which is the shame as the original had so much charm. The Fiat 500 is a really good update on a classic. This isn’t.

Don’t hold back BMW, make something really nich and quirky!

If I could have ANY car in the world it would be the isseta bubble car, not this. This is more like a cheap modern version of an old Victorian building without the lovely details. Why can’t they have a ‘black London cab’ approach to its design? ok, make it bigger so it can pass safety regulations, I wouldn’t mind being able to plug in my i-pod to listen to some music while driving it, but keep as much of the character as possible! Don’t try to be too clever when designing its look, we already love the original one! a car like this has a nostalgic element to it, and there is nothing wrong with that!, don’t kill that! there are enough small modern cars around.

I am concerned that bmw cars has forgotten balanced performance and has had to get into bigger engines to drive their now heavy cars.

Instead of the 12 hp m/c motor how about the 162 hp of of the k12s for the power plant with an 8 to 10 gal. fuel tank and performace suspension. let’s go rally!!

It is a neat little design. It would compete with the Smart Fortwo http://www.smartusa.com and the new Fiat 500 http://www.fiat500.com .
