Koenigsegg CCX and CCXR!
By John
Editor
One of the complaints we’ve had about Koenigseggs is that the base models just don’t have enough power. That’s why everyone at CarDomain will be glad to see the release of the CCX and CCXR versions. Finally, the company is going to deliver some cars with a little bit of pep! In all seriousness, I thought it was interesting that the biofuel-powered CCXR bests its more conventional sister’s 245MPH top speed. Sure, it’s by only five MPH, but that’s still pretty cool. CNet has more details.

actually this only has about an extra 2 BHP over the normal CCXR which was already more powerful than the veyron and running on E85 biofuel it has a 50% smaller carbon footprint. I also read in topgear magazine that the original CCXR specs were under-quoted and it actually produced around 1064BHP.
and i’d like to say to karina that this is easily one of the best cars in the world and i can’t see what u could possibly have against it

Let me know when this will break it’s last Top Gear record. It’s just a matter of time before it takes down the Aero SC as fastest production ride in the world again. Absolutely my new favorite ride.

To the anonymous genius who made the first post: Gathering information from across the web is one of the many purposes of Blogs, dude. I suggest doing a little research on the matter and know your subject matter before opening your mouth.

Now on the topic of the Koenigsegg; this is the car I originally read about being used for the next gen KITT. But since then I have seen the role slotted for the Pontiac Solstice, Ford Mustang, and rumors of a next gen Trans Am similar to the 09 Camaro.

In regards to the previous comment. I would estimate that 90% of blogging is just that; repeated information. But, Cardomain does supply a lot of first hand information. Cardomain did an excellent job of reporting all the action from SEMA. The Cardomain staff gets to attend many events and exclusive automotive venues, then the tell us about it.The blogger provides the information to his or her target audience. Different interest groups will recieve and discuss the same topic differently.
