Nissan Cube Spotted in the US

By Rob

Editor-in-Chief

These Cubes were spotted at the Pratt Institute in New York, where they are being modified for the New York Auto Show in May. Still no word on when exactly these cool little cars will land at Nissan dealers. More over at Jalopnik.

When the first gen xB just came out, I heard a lot about these things, but I’m surprised that if they decide to bring ‘em, they’re taking so long! You’d think they would have wanted a competitor here a while ago. I just hope they’re smaller than the new xBs (and get good mileage!) We need more options in that size.

My son has a pair of bedroom slippers that bear a strong resemblance to these.

The Cube is surpringly bigger than I originally thought. This box has third row seating! The Cube should be able to give the xB and the Element a run for the money. We will have to wait and see how Nissan wants to market this vehicle and how much they want to charge for it. Honda decided to switch marketing strategies for the Element and focus and youth and urban culture after witnessing the success of the Scion xB.
