Gasp! Jag and Land Rover… Profitable?
By John

Left Lane news is reporting the British bros are no longer in the hole. Take that, Ford! Of course, they must be using a combined value, because the blurb goes on to state that Jag "reduced its losses to just 100 million." Yikes. I guess that says something about just how precarious Jag’s financial situation was, because if losing 100 million bucks is seen as a positive development, things had to have been pretty rough. Hopefully, all the awesome reviews the new XF is getting will translate into sales, and bring the storied English company back into the black. Get more info over at Left Lane News.

I love Jaguar and always have i think they produce beautiful cars and i hope they dont go under. The styling for the xf is very nice. I love the Head and Tail lights, they make the car look very aggresive. The grill is also one of my favorite portions of the car. GO JAG keep making stunning cars.

Finally we can see a huge difference in two under-estimated car companies. I love JAG, AND LANDROVER. our families RANGEROVER is the best, in fact so good my mother is purchasing A new one and also keeping our old one. MInd you we own a toyota tacoma, So i understand the other companies, but they lack that style, comfort, and amazing off-road capabilities that the DOUBLE R has. As for JAG, we currently own a 74 JAG e-type fully restored, “runs perfect”, I feel that they have issues, but name a car that doesnt cause our toyota isnt a perfect angel. so where do you say that other companies have the upper-hand, cause ford screwed up this euro idea bad, They could have made a killing on these companies, But you cant possibly put a 7.3litre turbo diesel in a LR3. Whats funny is a Stock supercharged RANGE will kill your funny trucks straight up.

they only lost 1/10th of a Billion… looking at it that way it’s a… hell of a lot of money.

Land Rover did well enough to buoy Jag? I’m surprised LR made a profit.

Ford really was the wrong landlord anyway. I could sense the relief when they announced they wanted to clean house, I just couldn’t tell on which side of the Atlantic the sighs of relief were louder.
