Ride Pages: Upgrade in Progress!

Like the old one better cause I can’t get the rating to come up or the guestbook on my computer anymore. I have dial up so is that the problem? the old one looked a lot simpler too, now its all over the place, the avatar is cool though. Keep up the good work though.

I just wish that we could have an option of having our pages like they are now or the old way. I like the old way better. I believe in the principle of if it aint broke, don’t fix it. Just think the pages look scattered now, it looked cleaner the way it was setup before.

new update is cool with me…caught me by surprise i went to edit something and boom there it was lol…i kinda like the gb having its own pg tho..dats only part i dont like but its still a overall good look thanx…

I agree with Jas… I liked how the guestbook used to present itself… now it uses a lot of room… I just want a hint that there’s a reason to look in the guestbook, not dedicate a whole screen to previewing it. Still, I admire the rest of the work and effort you’re investing… thanks.

yeah the page layout is cool but all of the adds kind of makes it look bad

Ya think you have enough spare switches on that shelf? I hope you have a better ambient cooling system other than that fan for your servers. You already got my e-mail about the page upgrades.

You should that little white outline on peoples pictures again, it doesnt look the same without it.

I love the change. Now… make a tab for me when I am adding new pictures so I can go DIRECTLY to the last picture uploaded. I have like 700 pictures uploaded and I have to click thru 20 at a time to get to the new uploads at the end of the thumbnails . I wonder who has the most pictures up on Cardomain, I have 594 on my Bravada page.

Not loving it really,its was much simpler u before when guest book was at top and everything neatly organized,now its just looks likes everthing is thrown in there.the only cool thing is u can see the avatar when someone writes a comment but other than that sorry!?

I love that Picture. Can I stuff a Muffler into our Network at work too!!! Love it.

Uploading multiple pics at one time would be nice, though perhaps a tad slow. I think that’s what Patrick was talking about anyway.

I love the new look, getting rid of all the borders around the pictures makes things a lot more clean looking.

OH and now the bowties in my background fit PERFECTLY across the screen:)

i am not liking it so much… i like the comments being on top and there being no pics… i don’t want people’s pics all over my site just because they left a comment… yeah… ehhhh… not liking it, sorry

The only thing for me is that theres an ad at the top of the page and it takes up a big space so I have to scroll down a little just to start seeing somebody’s car page.

Batch mode for pictures?

I know many people don’t have 1100 pics, but I like using the site for blogging every detail (it DOES come in very useful!)

I give CD’s Technical Staff a lot of credit. This site has been tweaked nicely a couple times since I joined, at least one war has been waged against scum-of-the-earth page hijackers and I’m sure hardware and software has had to be replaced or upgraded.

I was a Sys Admin for 6 years, and I’m glad that’s not part of my workload anymore. For me there was more headache than reward.

Thats cool. But yeah the new ride pages look awsome it’s just going to take awhile to get used to.

The new ride pages look great. I really like seeing the avatars at the top of the page and next to the entries in the guest book. I’m sure any other updates you guys have planned will be awesome!
