Bad UK Cops Busted on Facebook

Here’s a big surprise: some cops over in the UK have been keeping unofficial kill lists of car wrecks they’ve helped cause while on duty. And like all intelligent criminals, they documented their exploits on the internet! Through a relatively high-profile Facebook group, no less, called "Yes I have had a POLCOL" (police collision), the happy billyclubbers rattle on about the squad cars they’ve wrecked and the pedestrians they’ve creamed. Though a lot of the membership bailed and took their pics with them when the story broke, a lot of the group’s material has been preserved on various news sites. Check out this one, written after the cop T-boned someone’s grandpa for running a green light: "I did him a favour. At 82 years old you just shouldn’t be on the road and if you are, then most certainly don’t go through a green light into the path of an innocent police car." Scotland Yard didn’t find the whole thing very amusing, and has launched an investigation.
