At Least They Only Killed Themselves

By John

Initially, this clip reads like your average idiot gets drunk, drives fast and dies story. But this quote from the driver’s sister sets puts this "tragedy" into a class of its own:

"The thing that really makes me feel much better about this is theydied doing what they loved to do — they were drinking, they were goingfast and they were together," Lorie Flaherty said. "It gives mecomfort, it does, to know those three things."

Way to look at the bright side Lorie! You know what gives me comfort? That this drunken moron only wound up killing people dumb enough to get into a car with him. Otherwise, this might have been a really sad story.

heh, yes, drunk driving and excessively speeding is alright if you die happy! stupid idiots, and their stupid families. i can understand if it was someone that died racing at the track, saying how at least they died doing what they loved. but drinking and then going 100+mph down a city street and killing yourself and friends is not a “happy” way to die, nor is it justifiable.

Wow. I haven’t heard such a twisted view since I last watched O’Rielly’s No Spin zone.

Ok, they were the only ones killed, but what about the 4 kids that 2 of them left behind?
Come on people, use your heads, it’s not always all about you. Don’t drive like morons and don’t drink and drive.
