With Friends Like These…
By John

It’s nice to have friends that care about your wellbeing and all, but I think this guy has crossed the line. Why exactly? Well, to keep his buddy, Nick, from hurting himself, his buddy has decided to sell his Harley for him. Without asking. Now, given the lack of proper paperwork, keys, or the legal owner’s knowledge, an actual sale does seem like a long shot here. But that doesn’t make the item description any less hilarious. This line was my favorite:
"I should warn you that Nick is a martial arts expert and if he wants his bike back you may have to give it to him. But at the price this is likely to sell a hospital bill will be a minor extra."
How long do you think auction will run before eBay’s overlords pull it?

Here are a few of the intersting Q&A’s for the bike.
-
Q: Hey. Have you got any other friends with Harleys cause I have some other friends who want one!!! Never mind no keys, no paters and Nick being able to beat me to a pulp, I want the bike!!!!
A: Thanks for the idea, I am going to start a business “free Harley parking”
-
Q: Nick is a lucky man… you are a truly great friend to have! I’ll be your friend too if you can get me a 2007 model Audi TT, black, with low klms. I can’t pay more than $2000, but it will be cash, in low denomination bills. Hoping you can help me. Your new best friend, Dave
A: Is a convertible OK?
-
Q: what year model is it
A: Your guess is as good as mine. I guessed 2008. What was yours?
Q: hi there i am very interested however i feel the deal is a bit too dodgy unless you include mr friendly his dog as i don’t have a lot of friends and mr friendly sounds friendly i think we could have a lot of fun together so if the dog comes with the bike i am more then happy to be bidding on it toodles pip
A: Someone else has asked this and I will repeat what I said “What sort of bastard would sell his mate’s dog on ebay?”. Sorry, no deal.

I wish my friends were this nice…
I enjoyed reading the questions and answers. Apparently, people are trying to convince him to sell his friends, dog, Mr Friendly, too.
